PROJECT PROFILE
A PROVEN NET ZERO READY COMPONENT
INNERGY AP® THERMAL PRESSURE PLATES are an integral part of the breakthrough design for Vaisala’s net zero ready North American headquarters.
In this new case study, the custom designed pressure plate for the Tubelite 400T Curtainwall system was a keystone in the development of one of Colorado’s most sustainable buildings.
Vaisala, a global leader in weather, environmental and industrial measurement, tapped OZ Architecture with developing a headquarters built in Scandinavian style with an exceptional energy efficient profile.
Innergy AP was selected to customize its revolutionary fiber-reinforced polymer into a thermal pressure plate that performed with the strength of aluminum but with 900 times the energy efficiency of aluminum. The result has been labeled “spectacular.”

PROJECT PROFILE
Tommy G. Thompson Center
Over the decades, the building’s exterior curtainwall experienced significant deterioration and was leaking air into the building. The glass curtainwall had a number of failed insulating units, and the original manufacturer no longer made the system used on the building. Therefore, the project and ownership teams needed to identify a custom solution that would meet the performance requirements for the building’s restoration while staying within the budget established by the state of Wisconsin.
The challenge was clear: Modernize the Tommy G. Thompson Center curtainwall while ensuring optimal thermal performance and condensation resistance. Deceuninck’s Innergy® AP emerged as the answer, promising to create a thermal block from the exterior to keep the hard-at-work staff comfortable inside.

PROJECT PROFILE
Porsche of the Village
For the renovation of the Porsche of the Village – a car dealership selling both Porsche and Maserati vehicles in Cincinnati, Ohio – the owners sought to replace an old, drafty curtainwall with one that would parallel the performance of the brands’ industry-leading supercars. They entrusted next-gen material science from Deceuninck for the optimal solution.
For this project, it was what was included within the curtainwall system that significantly boosted its thermal performance. The windows feature Deceuninck’s Innergy® AP pressure plates, custom-designed components to fit any fenestration system and offer immediate and significant thermal benefits.
